Audiovisual teaching aids in the formation process of foreign language communicative competence

The modern visually-oriented world is the of real and virtual possibilities due to application information technologies. Therefore, television Internet are used not only for entertainment but also educational purposes in all spheres human activity including education. In didactics, audiovisuals play an important role mastering foreign languages. appropriateness their use process stipulated by implementation facilitating general didactic learning principles – activity, consciousness, consistency, visualization as well. Audio video materials aimed at improving perception efficiency program material, checking level its assimilation, abilities practical skills acquired knowledge. aim our analysis was attempt define most basic formation competence a language students from non-language institutions higher education based on audiovisual teaching aids. During study, authors conducted synthesis best pedagogical practice, generalized observations, experimentally verified validity using aids preparatory department main stage training (1st-4th year students), 1st-2nd Ukrainian Vinnytsia National Technical University. article clarifies concept competence. There have been analyzed methods forming students’ audio (phonetic recordings, texts lessons, podcasts, clips, films, electronic textbooks, online dictionaries, conferences, seminars, telecommunication projects). substantiated theoretically tested effectiveness influence speech among students.
